Christmas at the Fosters

Every year, after we play with our presents from Santa, we head over to my parents' house for Christmas with the Fosters. This year was so much fun. We had such a good time together. On the down side, this was my first Christmas without a grandparent and it hit me hard on Christmas Eve. The realization just made me cry. It's so hard getting older. It feels like something is missing when you've spent every Christmas you've ever had around your grandparents and then they're gone.
On a more positive note, the food was delicious as always. The custom in our family is to have a seafood dinner for Christmas. This year, instead of lobster, we had seared sesame ahi tuna steaks. The were DELICIOUS! Some of the best stuff I've ever put in my mouth. It was like butter... and I LOVE butter.

Here are the girls opening up their stockings from Nana and Pop.

They loved their candy necklaces.
Yum!
