First trip to Chuck E. Cheese

Today was our first ever trip to Chuck E. Cheese and it was a BLAST!!! Louis and I were so excited about taking them, because we had really thought they would have so much fun. The little girl across the street, Lainey, celebrated her 4th birthday there today and it was a great party. They had pizza and cake and then played games. Mary Elizabeth loved every ride she went on. Mckinley was a little more apprehensive. Mckinley loved the Merry-Go-Round though. The slide was a big hit too. We really just had the best day. We didn't put the girls to bed tonight until 10:00. They were having fun and we didn't want the day to end. We're like big kids. I told Louis tonight that this was what I had always wanted, a family to do things with. :-)

Mary Elizabeth and Mckinley riding in the car with Chuck.

Mary Elizabeth loved him. She just sat back in that car right next to him and "chillaxed."

Mckinley and Mary Elizabeth riding the tractor with Bob the Builder. They loved all of the characters.

Mckinley loved driving. Here's a shot of Mary Elizabeth doing things "her way." We tried to get her to stand up or sit in the seat, but no, she wanted to sit in the floor. I guess it seemed like the best way to her.

Emmie with Barney. I never thought I'd see the day.

Mckinley holding on for dear life. She wasn't so sure about this ride.

Mary Elizabeth loved this one! You moved the joy stick around and the trunk on this thing moved. Maybe it was supposed to be Dumbo??? Again, Mckinley not so sure.

We loved the slide!

The Merry Go Round. Probably Mckinley's favorite. And of course, Mary Elizabeth loved it too. There's nothing too wild for that child. :-)

The girls are starting to get to the fun age where you can start doing things with them. I love the nine to twenty month stage--still kindof babies but old enough to play with!
