15 months

My girls are now 15 months old. They turned 15 months on November 3rd. We had their 15 month well visit yesterday. It went really well. They had 4 shots a piece. They had the flu, the MMR, the chicken pox, and something else. They did awesome. Mary Elizabeth really impressed me. After watching her sister get her shots and cry, she still trusted me enough to pick her up and lay her down to get hers. I feel so bad to have abused her trust. They each cried for a minute and then they were over it. After the Drs. appt we went by my school to visit and then to the grocery store. They were such troopers!
They are doing really well developmentally and on their heights and weights. They are on target if not a little ahead developmentally. Such a big achievement for preemies! We saw a new Dr. this time and she couldn’t believe they were preemies. She said they might have been huge now if they hadn’t been born early. Maybe, maybe not. Mary Elizabeth weighs 21 lbs 10.5 oz and is in the 30%ile. She is 31 in tall and is in the 60%ile. Mckinley weighs 22 lbs 2 oz and is in between the 40 – 45%ile. She is 30 in tall and is in the 50 %ile. They’ve come a long way from the 3rd percentile a year ago! I’m so proud of my girls!
