Redneck Sledding

During our snow, we took the girls outside on Friday morning to play. We had a lot of fun. This is their first real snow (enough to go out and play in and be old enough to play). We had a lot of fun "sledding" down the driveway. We don't have a lot of snow equipment since there's not a lot of need, so we got out a cardboard box and went to down. It really slide well and was a blast. Here's Mary Elizabeth going down the driveway.
Woohoo!
Mckinley's turn to go down. I just love those smiles.

Wheee!!!

Daddy pushing the girls down together.

Isn't it great to always have a best friend with you? Even on snow days.

Oh, no! We're sliding off!!!

Oops! Oh, well. That was fun!

Don't worry. They were fine. They got up with smiles. Unfortunately, that night, Mary Elizabeth woke up with 103.8 fever and we were snowed in. Scary night. We learned a valuable lesson that night. Always park a car at the top of the hill when it snows.
