Ginger

Papa got the grand kids a miniature horse after seeing how much they enjoyed riding at the pony party. We took the girls to meet Ginger the night Andy brought her home. Ginger is a sweet horse and is very well behaved. She seems totally comfortable with children which is perfect.
Here's Mary Elizabeth's face when she saw Ginger. Total excitement!
Mckinley didn't smile big, didn't get excited, just matter-a-factly walked over to Ginger and wanted on. She knew what Ginger was there for.

She then got down, walked over, and took the lead rope from Papa and started to lead Ginger around. She had watched the girls at the party and knew what to do.

Walking Ginger.

Mary Elizabeth's turn on the horse.

We can't wait to go see Ginger again. Papa has since gotten a saddle and I can't wait to see the girls riding her. I think we'll have to go get them pink cowboy boots and pink hats!
