After the Easter egg hunt, we went to one of Uncle Carlin's ponds to do a little fishing. That's when we discovered that Mckinley shares her Daddy's love for fishing. We also found out the she can set the hook and reel in her own fish. And, we learned that Mary Elizabeth enjoys fishing with kiddie rods. So, this lead to our decision to buy the girls their own rods. (Mommy was right.)

After this trip both girls couldn't stop talking about it. They would tell us about how "you have to watch your bobber" that "the fish got my worm" and how they caught "big fish!" It's so fun to see the so excited and loving the outdoors. I'm hoping they both love fishing so that Daddy's fishing trip go over his alone time and me watching the kids to his time with his girls and Mommy's free time! Yea!
