Well, We Did It!!!

Even though this morning was cold and very windy, the girls and I got up, got out, and went to Duluth for the Alzheimer's Association's 3 mile memory walk. It ended up being a lot of fun. Mom, Dad, Miranda, and David joined us. We walked in memory of our grandmothers: Betty Foster and Mary Elizabeth Spears. Alzheimer's is a horrible disease and many of us have been affected by it. It felt really good to do something. Our team ended up raising $1, 437.00 for Alzheimer's research, which I thought was awesome! Thank you to all of you who donated!

Here's a picture of the girls all bundled up before the walk.

I was really impressed with myself. I pushed a double stroller with 44 lbs of kid in it and everyone's junk, up and down the hills of Duluth for 3 miles. We booked it too! I really got a workout. Mckinley slept with her two bears during the walk in the back seat of the stroller and Mary Elizabeth enjoyed all of the people walking around her. They were great sports! I couldn't have asked for a better day. It was a great day to spend with family.
