Amusement Park

Our last night at the beach, we took the girls to Family Kingdom, an amusement park in Myrtle Beach. Andy and Vickie took Hannah and Alex too. We all road the Merry-Go-Round together and then we split up. Hannah and Alex wanted to ride the big kid rides and we rode what we thought were big girl rides. It was scary letting them ride in those rides all by themselves with nothing more than a seat belt holding them in. I was afraid they'd try to get out, be scared, and not like it, but after the first ride I saw that it was all going to be okay.
Here's Nana with Mary Elizabeth.
Daddy with Mckinley. She was the main reason we went to the amusement park. She's been asking since around Father's Day to "go ride bunny" again. She rode a bunny on the Merry-Go-Round at North Point Mall and she's been asking to go back and ride ever since. It's precious. So we wanted to go somewhere with a Merry-Go-Round. They didn't have any bunnies, but it was still fun.
Next, we rode the Choo, Choo Train around the park. Here's Mary Elizabeth sitting like a big girl, soaking it all in, on the train.

Mckinley looking so sweet, sitting with Daddy.

I love this one. She's prop her arms up on both sides and just chill. It was so cute. You've gotta look like you've been there before, right?

Mckinley looking at everything as we rode by.

Mckinley again. It was so neat watching them doing everything for the first time. It was my favorite part of the trip. I wanted for so long to have kids to do fun things with, and I LOVE having my kiddos! They're so fun!

Next, we went on to the car. They loved driving and honking the horn. Don't you just love the excitement on Mary Elizabeth's face?

Wee!!! So fun!

Hey mom!

Next, we were on to the boats. Again they loved driving and this time ringing the bell!

Ding, Ding!

Both hands on the wheel!

On Saturday morning, we decided to stop off at one of those junk stores before going home. Mckinley had been saying, "Big Fish, Shark" every time we rode by this store, so we picked this one. We're really into fish and turtles right now. Here's Mckinley with her big fish.
